Separate two types of content
Planned community posts and short-term deals follow different rhythms. A tip, an insight or a question to your readers can be prepared. A short price campaign sometimes needs quick attention. Plan both types consciously.
AffiRena separates product planners and social media planners. Use this structure: offers in their intended process, own content with photos or videos in the social media area.
Plan the week from the outside to the inside
Start with fixed occasions and available material. Which topics fit your community? Which pictures are already available? Then you decide on channels and timings. So you prevent that you first fill free calendar fields and only search for a reason for the post.
Keep open places deliberately. The calendar should give you direction, not displace every spontaneous thought. Use the queue to prepare multiple posts and check them before sending them.
Making responsibilities visible
For several people, a clear task per access helps: Who chooses products, who edits texts and who looks at results? Set the available areas for managers appropriately. Discuss in the team what needs to be checked before publication.
Own access creates a better basis for comprehensible work. Good cooperation also needs your joint coordination; a permission switch does not replace an editorial agreement.
Answer a question at the end of the week
Look at a specific question: What posts have clicks brought? Which products appear in the reported sales data? Were your assumptions plausible about topics and timings?
Use the time filters of the statistics and note when sales data has been imported or synchronized. Take knowledge into the next week. A small, comprehensible step is often more useful than a complete changeover after a single day.
Try it on your own workflow.
